Default 455 Squadron RAAF Hampdenlost March 1942

Does anyone have any information regarding the loss of a 455 Sqn Hampden on the night of 10/11 Mar 1942. The aircraft in question was Hampden I AT192 UB-R on ops to Essen. The crew were all killed and after the war they were taken to Reichswald, crew names PO Gandy, PO Wright RNZAFand Sgt Jennings and Sgt Skinner RAAF. I have looked through the German night fighter claims for the night and there is no claim that matches. Any assistance appreciated.

    Hi Daz,

Have you found any more information out about this aircraft and crew? PO Wright is my great uncle and whilst I am in the UK I am trying to find out as much as I can.

    Many thanks,

    Lachie
