Default W.O. A.H.Dixon or Dickson RCAF

    Hi All,

I made some enquiries on the board in 2006 regarding this man but am still at a loss with any further info.

He served in 1944 with 281 Squadron and was W/AG for F/O L.W.Jenner.

All I know is most of the time his surname is spelt Dixon, but a reference found in an Australian airman`s file from the same crew, has Dickson and the service number R/156859. RCAF.

Can anyone provide any more details on this airman please.

    Regards
    Dave

    Thanks Fox,

That`s a great help. Be interested if you find anything else. Even his full name would help.

    Regards
    Dave

The service number is R156859, not R156839. My mistake.

I'm not sure he's your man, but I have found one Alfred Henry Dixon born on June 15, 1921 in Blackhall Colliery, County of Durham, England who passed away on September 12, 1998 in Fort Smith, Arkansas, USA.

    Yes!
I`m pretty sure this is him, coincidentally I found that Genealogy page this afternoon, looking through this page there are connections in the family with Niagara Falls, Ontario.

    Thanks again.
