    Default Douglas KJ996

    Hi all

Does anyone know if KJ996, which crashed near Pegu in Burma on 02/02/1946, belonged to 194 Squadron?

I'm trying to establish the loss of Pilot F/Sgt ROBERT LESLIE BELL (1895338) of 194 Squadron, killed on this date, and buried in Taukkyan. I think this is the aircraft he was flying. I've also establed two other 194 airmen killed - R J Hughes (Nav) and R Scrivens (WOp). But I gather there were five casualties.

    cheers

Thank you Chris. Just what I needed. I'm still working on my list of airmen with Jamaican backgrounds, and Bell is one of them.

    cheers
