    Hello

He was William Dennis Gibbon, service number 629514, born 24 June 1921, enlisted 20 December 1938, from the County of Durham. He gives his place of capture as "near Maastricht".

    Hello Joss,

The aircraft crashed near Heppeneert a hamlet of the town of Maaseik in Belgium near the Belgian/Dutch border some 20km north of the town off Maastricht Holland. It was the 2nd victory of Fw Spille Walter and Uffz Becker Johan off 3./NJG1
