    Default Operation Rosalind

Does anyone have the details of the movements / timescales of the escapees who were part of "Operation Rosalind" after they had reached Gibralter on 16th October 1942.

Did they all return to the UK en-masse and get repatriated on the same day or did they come back via separate routes with varying timescales?

    Regards

    Pete

Note: I have the information from Conscript Heroes and from the book "Secret Flotillas"
    Main areas of research:

    - CA Butler and the loss of Lancaster ME334 (http://rafww2butler.wordpress.com/ )
    - Aircrew Training (Basic / Trade / Operational / Continuation / Conversion)
    - The History of No. 35 Squadron (1916 - 1982) (https://35squadron.wordpress.com/)

    UPDATE:

I have received the following response from Keith Janes (Conscript Heroes):

"The group Walsh (915) to Blyth (925) – which includes Southwell (921) – were flown back to Poole on 18 October 1942; I’m guessing they went by Sunderland as there is no airport at Poole"

Based on this information, does anyone have any thoughts on which squadron would have been involved and/or the details of aircraft movements between Gibralter and Poole on this date?

    Regards

    Pete

Just wanted to bump this one up to see if anyone can provide a list of squadrons that could have been involved in repatriating these escapees (flying them from Gibralter to Poole (18th / 19th October 1942)).

    Regards
