    Default Bomber Command Directives

Does anyone know where I may be able to find the full wording of the Air Ministry directives issued to Bomber Command relating to the focus for the bombing offensive?

I have extracts and explanations etc but wondered if the actual directive is recorded in any books, on any internet sites or in any TNA file(s)

Any help would be much appreciated

    Regards

Pete, I think that it would be worth to check the volume 4 of "The Strategic Air Offensive Against Germany" by Webster and Frankland. It contains various Annexes & Appendices which also include Air Ministry directives.

Webster & Frankland Strategic Air Offensive Vol IV has all directives in Appendix 8, you can get it at http://www.amazon.co.uk/Strategic-Of...+%26+Frankland or borrow it from the Library. If you have a date or particular Directive in mind I can give you the gist,

    Cheers,
