Default 76 Sqn Air Gunner Sgt Eric Albon 1944

Could someone with access to the ORB for 76 Sqn tell me when Sgt Albon was on the Squadron and what his movements were i.e. where did he join from and where did he go at end of tour. I am trying to sort out a bit of a puzzle which has him claiming a Me109 on 22/23 Mar 44 during a raid on Frankfurt.

    Many thanks

Can confirm Col's man, and he was in F/Sgt L. Marshall's crew on the night of the Frankfurt operation and reports an ME109 n/fighter being shot down in flames. Have to go to work now, but will search his movements later, if no-one gets there first.

    Col, Alan
Thank you both for your quick replies, much appreciated. There is a sound recording of Sgt Albon speaking to the Station Commander on his return to base in which the write up that accompanies it states that it was recorded at Breighton and that he was subsequently Kia as an officer in June with 78 Sqn. I believe that the recording is of Albon but was done at Holme on Spalding Moor and the officer they refer to is Eric Albon who flew as an Observer/Bomb Aimer. Same name but two different men.
    Thanks again
    Daz
