    Default 9, 55, 57 & 59 OTU ORB check

Can anyone with the ORB's for 9, 55, 57 & 59 OTU check the following dates for any flying accidents:

    8th December 1941
    10th December 1941
    30th July 1942

    Many thanks!

    Hi Jim

    From the 57 OTU ORB:

8/12/41 - B Flight moved to their new permanent Dispersal points. S/Ldr A. W. Barnett posted to RAF Station Eglinton for squadron leader admin post.
10/12/41 - No entry (entries for 9/12741 and 11/12/41, but nothing for 10/12/41

There are, however, flying accidents recorded on 6/12/41 (1 death), 7/12/41 (6 A/C involved, but 2 deaths), and 12/12/41 (1 death).

I do not have the 57 OTU ORB for July 1942, but can e-mail you copies of the ORB for July-December 1941 if you wish.

I do not have the other ORBs, I'm sorry.

    Regards
    Steve

    Hi Phil,

Can you check the a day or two before for those dates too? I'm now looking for what I suspect might be three forced landing accidents without a fatality, one of the incidents, the one on the 10th December 1941, might have involved a Polish pilot.

    Many thanks!
