    If you look at the newly scanned images attached to Patching's CWGC database entry, his name has 111 O.T.U. listed against it.

    He is listed in Flight magazine as
    KILLED ON ACTIVE SERVICE.—
    Fit.'Sgt. G. J. Patching - none of the other four men listed KOAS in this casualty list died on this date or have the same unit

    Nothing similar on CWGC scans for the other two men but I would not expect there to be.

    F/O Edwards unit is listed on the GRO as Seletar Flying Boat Base.

    STIRLING, David - LAC - not Eng/Wales?.

    PATCHING, George John - Sgt (WoP-A/G) - He was killed whilst flying in Liberator VIII, KK290 of No 1674 HCU, when he was crushed below the sight bar of his guns during a gunnery practice and was pronounced dead on admission to sick quarters, his death was considered to be due to Traumatic Asphyxia.

    STIRLING, David - he's listed in the Statutory Deaths on the Scotland's People website. He died at the City Hospital, Edinburgh at 09.30 hrs. of pulmonary TB, from which he had been suffering for 2 years.

    Hello,

    F/O (GD[WOM]) Arthur EDWARDS, was drowned after falling overboard from No.230 Squadron Sunderland V PP157 "S", at Seletar, Singapore, on 25 September, 1945.

    AIR 27/1423/63 - No.230 Sqn ORB (F.540) 1/8/45 - 31/12/45 - Images 14 & 15 of 40 (very difficult to read).

    Identity of Sunderland confirmed in:

    Ocean Sentinel The Short Sunderland.
    Hamlin,John F.
    Staplefield:Air-Britain (Historians),2012.
    pp.137 & 220 (RoH).
