    Re: 400607 F/L John Fraser SWAIN DFC RAAF.

    Jeep 212693, did not overturn on the Western Hwy, RAAF Darwin, there being no such location. The Jeep actually overturned on the western taxiway, within the confines of RAAF Station Darwin.

    Hello Tony,
    LJ668 had crew of 6 and 20 passengers.

    Agnes Aitchison MALTBY and Hilda Victoria TIMMS were two of three wives of airmen also on board.
    Cpl Edward Vernon MALTBY and Sgt John Edward TIMMS.
    the third married couple were -
    Lt/Col Alexander John Severs Mackenzie RCS and Chief Officer Dorothy Mary Mackenzie WRNR.

    Three other ladies were also on the aircraft
    Cpl Margery GREENFIELD NZWAAC
    Sgt Mary Isabel INNES NZWAAC
    Pvt Margaret Jean MORTLOCK NZWAAC
