Default 58 Squadron mishap on or about 2 Aug 1943

Could anyone tell if a 58 Squadron Halifax had a mishap on or around 2 August 1943. I have an RCAF 2nd pilot who was sent to the Station Sick Qtrs on that date, but released and given leave.

    Hello,

    Nothing untoward reported here: http://www.hampshireairfields.co.uk/hancrash.html

On 2-7-1943, No.58 Sqn Halifax DT688, swung on take-off from Holmesley South and its undercarriage collapsed NFD. No.58 Sqn was based at Holmesley South, Hampshire, at the time.

Thanks Col, I never checked the location of 58 at the time.
I'll have a look at the ORB some day when I'm retired.
