    Steve,

The Master Bomber on the 1/2 May 1944 Chambly raid was, 41783 A/S/L John Mervyn DENNIS DFC RAFO (No.7[PFF]Sqn). I suspect his Deputy might have been his CO, NZ402749 A/W/C James Fraser BARRON DSO,DFC,DFM. RNZAF : https://www.thegazette.co.uk/London/...upplement/2873

    Hello

From the Squadron ORB, I can confirm the MC was S/L J.M. DENNIS, in Lancaster JB653 'R'. His deputy was F/L H.C. WILLIAMS (RNZAF), in ND912 'P'

I'm sending you the page, Steve
