    Can anyone please tell me what the following squadrons were operating during the following periods,


    No.54 (Fighter) Squadron 1931-1935
    No.207 (Bomber) Squadron 1935-1937

    Jefford states that:

    54 Sqdn - RAF Hornchurch 15/01/1930 - 28/10/1939

    207 Sqdn -

    9/11/1929 - 28/10/1936 (?) - Bircham Newton
    6/10/1936* - to Ed Damer
    6/04/1936* - to Gebeit
    29/08/1936 - to Worthy Down
    20/04/1938 - to Cottesmore
    24/08/1939 - to Cranfield

    * There appears to be a misprent in the book - maybe 1935?

    Hi Steve

    You asked "what" they were operating. Again from Jefford:

    54 Sqn 1931-35
    Apr '30 to Sept '36 - Bristol Bulldog IIA

    207 Sqn 1935-37
    Aug '32 to Apr '36 - Fairey Gordon
    Apr '36 to Aug '36 - Vickers Vincent
    Nov '36 to Nov '37 - Fairey Gordon

    According to John Rawlings 'Fighter Squadrons of the R.A.F. and Their Aircraft'' and supported by Alan Lake's 'Flying Units of the R.A.F':
    Bristol Bulldog Mk. 11A - April 1930 to September 1936

    No. 207 (B) Squadron -
    According to Philip J. R. Moyes 'Bomber Squadrons of the R.A.F. and Their Aircraft' (MacDonald: London) supported by Alan Lake's 'Flying Units of the R.A.F':
    Fairey Gordon - September 1932 to April 1936
    Vickers Vincent - April 1936 to July 1936
    Fairey Gordon - July 1936 to November 1937
    Vickers Wellesley Mk. I - September 1937 to April 1938
