Default Information needed on Typhoon IB JR216

On November 13, 1943 a Typhoon IB JR216 of 56 Squadron crashed near Loosduinen, The Netherlands with F/O N.A. Wright

I've read in a German document that he survived the crash and that he became POW.

I'm looking for more information on the crash of the Typhoon like why did it crashed and I want to know more on F/O N.A. Wright , like where was he brought to during the war as POW, did he survive the war and after that. And what was full name ?

    Thanks
    Ronald

His full name was Norman Allen WRIGHT

    Ross's POW list states:

Camp: L1 POW No: 1767 Service Number: 121421

According to Thomas & Shores' "The Typhoon & Tempest Story", it was hit by flak and force-landed

    Default 'Lobster' Wright

was his nickname. He was on Rhubarb round the DutchIslands with Plt Off M.J.B.Cole, and the Typhoons were eachcarrying a pair 500lb bombs. They attacked a coaster, which was claimed Cat III damaged, but Lobster's aircraft was hit by flak, probably in the radiator and he turned towards the coast - making a forced landing about 400 yards inland. His aircraft, JR216, was coded 'US-N' and was a new machine - it had been with the squadron just 6 days.

Stalag Luft 1 was at Barth, Germany. Wright made an emergency landing in the garden of Mr C.A. Van Beveren, Nieuweweg 22 (street and house number) 11.30 hrs.
