Default Tracing my dad's national service details - RAF Padgate Sep 47

    Hi

Apologies if this is the wrong place to start but I was trying to trace a bit more details regarding my late father's National Service. His name was Malcolm Fitzgibbon and enrolled at RAF Padgate Sep 47 level of AC1.

He was a telephonist is all I know.

    Thank you in advance.

    Ian Fitzgibbon

Ian, Hi and welcome to the forum,
If you have not already got it then you should obtain his RAF Service Record from Disclosures at RAF Cranwell. If you are your late father's NoK then you will get the full version.
The Service Record will be full of abbreviations and acronyms, etc, but there are many experts on the forum who will be only too pleased to help decipher them!
