    Default Rodeo mission, 417 - 313 Sqdn; P/O. S W McCracken

    Hi All,

I am researching a "Personal Combat Report" for P/O S W McCracken, a Canadian pilot flying with the Czech 313 Squadron. His aircraft was Spitfire Mk. IX (ML259) and he claimed a FW190 as a probable whilst flying as Blue 4 on Rodeo mission, 417 on 21st February 1945.

I am looking for information on his 'probable' and any information (websites/books) on that particular Rodeo. My attempts at googling have so far been fruitless.

    Many thanks in advance,

    Russ

    Default Rodeo mission, 417 - 313 Sqdn; P/O. S W McCracken

    Hi All,

I now think the probable was Uffz. Johannes Brummund (K) of 6th Staffel, II Gruppe, JG26, serial number Black 12 (which crashed at Meppen, Germany) and was claimed as a damaged being the last claim of the war by 313 Sqdn.

    Can anyone confirm this?

    Russ
