Default A/S/Ldr Edward Coser DFC MiD RAAF - 460 Squadron RAAF

    Hi,

This ex 218 skipper was killed with 460 RAAF Squadron on December 2nd 1943 while attacking Berlin.

I am looking for details on the date he arrived on the squadron, where from and the number of op's he completed with 460 Squadron.

    Any help appreciated.

    Thanks Col,

If you have the 460 ORB, could you see when and from where F/Sgt William Walter Harrington 1263303, flight engineer was posted from. He was killed with Corser and was his F/E during Corser's first tour with 218 Squadron.

    Thanks again mate.

    Steve,

I neglected to mention, that you will find a photograph of F/L Eric Corser DFC (3rd right) and his crew (unnamed), in front of what I believe is Lancaster III JB611:AR-R, here:

    Hi Col,

Thank you for that, I do have a studio photo of him just after he received his DFC if you want a copy.

    Steve,

Thanks all the same, but I'll give the snap a miss. I have sufficient for ID purposes (including FStVTV/114 !).
