Default Looking for detail/internal photos or drawings of an FN7 turret

    Hello everyone

I'm busy making Italeri's 1/72 Stirling Mk.I, and need to add a bit of detailing for the upper turret, an FN7. I've managed to find only a couple of useful photos so far, one in the book 'British Aircraft Armament, Volume 1' by R W Clarke, and the one on this page:

    http://www.lancaster-archive.com/man...per_turret.htm

Can anyone help? Photos, drawings, anything that may show the internals and structure.

    Thanks

    Simon

    Thanks for the links Bruce.

The documents at Kew sound like technical papers, so they may or may not have internal photos.

The photo on the Forum page is the same as the one in the R W Clarke book. Seems FN-7s weren't as well documented photgraphically as other R.A.F. turrets. I did get a lead that the Pathfinder Museum at Wyton has the cupola from an FN.7, so they may be able to help.

    Regards

    Simon
