Default P/O Donald Cosmo Beddoe, 401731, RAAF, 2 Sqn RAAF

I know it is not RAF and therefore a bit off topic:

Would anyone have information on, when P/O Cosmo was posted to 2 Sqn RAAF. He crashed in Hudson A16-230 on 27 Mar 44 and later dies as PoW.

His casualty file is digitized, but not his service record.
