    Default LAC Percival C. Groves

http://www.coventrytelegraph.net/new...entry-11025441Wonder if anyone within the forum has any information on a LAC Percival C. Groves 1152645 a PoW at Stalag IV Muhlberg (Elbe). How he was captured, unit etc? He exchanged identities with an American (Pte. Theodore B. Collins) in order to remain/move to other camps. The daughter of Theodore is trying to trace the relatives. Appreciate any leads members are able to supply.

    pietrzak309,

    This may possibly be him?

Groves Percival C, (MMS) Gilbert, Registered Bedwellty Vol 11a Page 303

His Enlisted Number of 1152645 is in the block 1150001-1299800 issued Apr/May 1940 (at various centres in UK) aged 19.

So he is probably unlikely to have been made PoW before the autumn of 1940?
