    Default Spitfire MJ500

    On February 25, 1945 at 13:30, an English fighter aircraft registered Spitfire MJ500, driven by an party chief sergeant airfield Rennes Saint-Jacques-de-la-Lande and visiting Toulouse, landed 300 meters south of the steeple of the Cambout, Township Plémet by following out of gas?
    The device is damaged, broken wings and landing gear. The Aviator is unharmed telephoned his base that should come take it.
    The aircraft is guarded by two gendarmes of the brigade of Plémet, and the English military.

    Spitfire MJ500 of 12 F U, crashed cat.B near Brehan (50 mls West of Rennes) France on 25.2.1945 (13:30h), F/Sgt G DIXON (1425780):
    Ferrying to MAAF - Maps of flying route in pilot's kit, but not in cockpit, R/T u/s, got lost, running short of petrol, Forced Belly landing in field;
