Default Banff Junior Commanders Course October 1943

Can anyone assist in advising on this, would this be Banff in Canada or Banff in the UK Scotland. Internet searches are not very helpful moreover the same in respect of what this course was. the Month and year appears to have a connection with the UK based Banff but this is not very clear. Forum searches shows this course has previously been the subject of a question but it was not provided with a detailed answer.

as always thank you for any advice.

    This looks like it:

" 14 Flying Training School, later 14 Service Flying Training School, became 14 (Pilot) Advanced Flying Unit in 1942; based at various UK stations including Kinloss, Cranfield, Ossington and Banff."

    AIR29/561, 1939 Apr.-1944 Aug.

As far as I know the cadet training and leadership training still undertaken at Banff, Canada started post war. The cadet facility opened in 1948, and was initially just a flat place to pitch tents. The leadership and SARTECH facilities came later.
