Hello everyone

Amongst my local casualties, I have the following two members of 210 Sqn, both lost on January 2nd 1943 and whose names are recorded on the Runnymede Memorial.

GRAY, Gerald, Sgt, 210 Sqn. Service Nš 1090020. Killed January 2nd 1943, aged 22. He is commemorated in the Book of Remembrance at St Luke's Church, Wallsend.

ROBERTSON, John Balfour, Sgt, 210 Sqn. Service Nš 1110184. Killed January 2nd 1943. The Scotland's People website's Statutory Deaths list has a service return for him (he was born in Edinburgh), which gives his age as 25, and states that he died in 'Air Operations' over the UK. He is commemorated in the Book of Remembrance at Longbenton Urban District Council Offices, Newcastle-upon-Tyne.

The ORB doesn't have any information (were they detached up at Sullom Voe?), so I wondered if anyone could be of assistance?

Regards

Simon
