    Default N157 sqdn 14/04/1943 F/L Benson - F/O Brandon claim on a Do-217

    Hello,

On april 14 1943 F/L Benson and F/O Brandon from N 157 squadron claimed a Do-217 who crashed 5 miles south west of Colchester. Three of the four crewmembers bailed out and became POW. Does anyone has an idea about the identity of the DO-217.

    Regards

After my last I remembered that I have a copy of Lewis Brandon's book Night Flier. I have dug it out of the loft and it contains Benson's combat report for this incident. If you don't have it I will copy it out for you.
