Default Jacques Antonin Maurice Cocheme (139662) AFC date?

    Hello All,

Jacques Antonin Maurice Cocheme (139662) Cmd Flt Lt RAFVR GD Branch 6 Mar 43. Relinquished as A/Sqn Ldr, AFC, 4 Sep 1955. He was one of the first Met Air Observer Leaders. He got an AFC. Canít get the LG to cough up the date of the award Ė let alone any citation! Can anybody help? (I was most polite and deferential - not a cuss-word uttered - but it often gives me a 'black page' when I pull up from a heading! Anybody else suffering similar?).

    TIA

If you do a Google search for Cocheme 139662 Gazette, it will bring up the Supplement to the London Gazette, January 1st 1947, page 28 - A.F.C. to F/Lt Jacques Antonin Maurice Cocheme.

    Simon,
Tks yr help, but no go!
Whenever I click on the link in yr post I get a 'black' screen. Ditto when I do a Google search. And I shut my whole thing down and re-booted. Still same! Something wrong somewhere, and I'm not computer clever enough to know what it is - or how to correct it! Bloody computers!!
    Tks again

Very strange Peter. If you drop me a PM I can send over the pdf file to you if it's helpful.

    Simon,
Mni tks, but I managed to get a 'good' copy of the page very early on today, so I have what I need.
    Tks again.
