    Default R.A.F. losses on 29th April 1942

    Hello,

I'm looking for information about possible R.A.F. losses on French soil, on 29th April 1942. Fighter Command Losses shows W/C PISAREK (No. 1 (Polish) Wing) and S/L OZYRA (C.O. of No. 317 Squadron). The former is still missing in action, the latter's body was found on the beach at Camiers and he was buried in Boulogne-sur-Mer. According to the general agreement, both came down in the Channel off Le Touquet area. 3 Spitfire were damaged but all returned.

Is there any Army Co-operation Command or Coastal Command loss on that day ?

    TIA

    Joss

    Hi Joss,

I can only say that there were no loss of Czechoslovak airmen on that day (311 Squadron, all Czech fighter squadrons and also airmen serving within allied squadrons)

    Hello

Sorry to have taken so long to thank you. But I thought I did...

So, no Coastal Command or Army co-operation command losses known that day ?

    Hi Joss,

According to the Operational Weekly Summary of Army Co-Operation Command only PR sorties and no losses.

    Regards,
    Hans
