Bill Chorley's Bomber Command Losses 1942 edition has two Hampden losses on the night of 13/14 September 1942:

    Hampden I L4109 GL-S - 14 O.T.U. - crashed near Stadskanaal 26 km east of Assen. An all-R.C.A.F. crew - two killed, two P.o.W.

Hampden I AD845 GL-B (Bar) - 14 O.T.U. - crash landed near Cottesmore after running out of fuel on return from Bremen. No casualties.

    Regards

    Simon
