Default 235 Sqdn Beaufighter loss 3 May 1943

Does anyone have any information regarding the loss of a 235 Sqdn Beaufighter on 3 May 1943 flying from Leuchars, the pilot was Sgt Wyndham Greenwood RAFVR (service number 1525204) he is listed on panel 151 on the Runnymede memorial. It is possible that the mission was to attack German shipping off the Norwegian coast.

He is one of my local casualties - his death was reported in the Sunderland Echo and Shipping Gazette, May 19th 1943:

"Sergt-Pilot Wyndham Greenwood, R.A.F., 4 Newbold Avenue, Sunderland, died on service May 3, 1943."

He is commemorated at St Columba's Church, Cornhill Road in Sunderland, literally just round the corner from his home address:

I'd be interested in hearing if you have any more details of his R.A.F. career JDA.
