    Default RAF Abbreviations (end of WW")

    I have come across a pilot who was sent on an EVT course just after the end of the war. I have found 2 possibles for EVT but neither make sense in the context. The only clue I have is that the course was at RAF Cammeringham at No 16 School of Technical Training. Can anyone help?

    Educational and Vocational Training Scheme?

    There's an article about E.V.T. on this document, in Polish, page 5 onwards (Cammeringham gets mentioned on page 17):

    I fell asleep twice (or was it 3 times?) waiting for it to load but I think you are right! It does at least make sense in the context of the information I had!

    Yes, it's bit steam-driven isn't it? Even on Northumberland's super-duper fibre-optic broadband it took ages for each page to load. Apologies for making you drop off!
