I'm trying to piece together this man's career for the owner of a house he lived in immediately post war.

The story so far:
Born 18 April 1909.
Apprentice at RAF Halton 13th Entry beginning 22 January 1926, service number 560476.
Seems to have served at RAF Mount Batten during the 1930s.
1939 Sgt with 614 Squadron, Cardiff.
1 September 1941 commissioned as Pilot Officer Technical Branch.
22 September 1942 promoted Flying Officer.
June 1943? Mentioned in Despatches
1 January 1944 temporary Flt Lt
June 1944 awarded MBE
1 September 1945 substantive Flt Lt
1 November 1945 promoted Sqn Ldr
8 April 1953 died, buried in Kranji Military Cemetery
Probably served with 10 MU RAF Hullavington 1945-50, then involved with jet research before moving to Singapore where involved with helicopters?

Help please!
