    "Death at the Wheel
    On his first day at work after demobilisation, Joseph T. Greenwood, aged 39, of Ashford, collapsed at the wheel of his bus, and died almost immediately."


    Voysey, Russel Lawrence - T/S/Lt(A) - RNZNVR - Sturtivant's F.A.A. Aircraft 1939-1945 has the following:

    Aircraftman 2nd Class 1187547 Norman John Stewart Axcell - Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve

    Born in Gravesend 24 August 1913 to John Charles Axcell and Ida Stockwell (nee Walker)

    He married Hilda Elizabeth Maud Allen in 1942 and they had twin daughters Pauline A Axcell and Elizabeth A Axcell born in 1943

    He died from pulmonary tuberculosis at 26 Prospect Avenue, Frindsbury near Rochester, Kent on 7 November 1945 and was buried at Gravesend Cemetery in B3-145 on 13 November
