    Sorry to doubt you, please can you check Evans death location, he is buried in Berwick On Tweed, but died in Devon!. If his family were in the Australia it seems a little stange - unless of course he had other family in Berwick On Tweed

    I've just checked;

    Andrew H S Evans death registered in Barnstable, aged 24, so possible he did have a family tie to Berwick.

    I believe Joseph's aircraft is a typo. N7591 is a black out block aircraft, I believe it should be N7691.

    My first reply so please excuse any mistakes.

    Beaufort I of 3 (C)OTU, Chivenor, on fire during start 18th Feb; crashed Heanton Punchardon Church, Devon, 2035h. Died of wounds 19th Feb.

    LAC I.S. Forbes - 655051 was a Pilot (u/t)

    LAC (Pilot u/t) L.B.S. Falkiner - 1384158 and LAC P. Cockburn - 1382945, both 15 FTS, were killed when their Oxford V3906 hit HT cables; crashed Laural Farm near Bicester, 1145h.

    Commemorated on Panel 278 of the Runnymede Memorial. Halifax II, DT503 of 1 OADU, lost over sea on ferry flight to Gibraltar.
