AUSTRALIA - 23214 LAC George Edward MURPHY RAAF.

At the time of his death, LAC MURPHY RAAF (of RAAF Station HQ, Maryborough, Queensland), was not a member of the RAAF, having been discharged on 30 May, 1942. I have checked the RAAF Maryborough ORB, there is no mention of Murphy RAAF, neither in May, 1942, nor November, 1945. I am not aware of his cause of death.

LAC PHILLIPS RAAF (of 3 AD, Amberley), died of an unspecified illness in the Brisbane Medical Unit, Greenslopes Military Hospital, Brisbane, on 26 November, 1945.

446773 LAC John Royston McDonnell BURGESS RAAF (of No.19 Replenishing Centre, Talmoi), was admitted to Richmond Hospital, Queensland, where an operation was performed for appendectomy. He became seriously ill post the operation, and died at No.3 Medical Receiving Station, Townsville, on 26 November, 1945.
