    What caused the death of and to what unit belonged:

    Aircraftman 2nd Class Lyall Hollis, RAF 549668, age 19, 09/01/1940, South London Crematorium, Mitcham, UK
    Corporal (W. Op./Air Gnr.) (Pilot U/T.) David Irving, RAF 526562, age 23, 09/01/1940, Paisley (Hawkhead) Cemetery, UK
    Pilot Officer (Pilot) Alan J. Mathew, RAF 42250, age 21, 09/01/1940, Edinburgh (Corstophine Hill) Cemetery, UK

    Pilot Officer (Pilot) Alan J. Mathew, RAF 42250, age 21, 09/01/1940, Edinburgh (Corstophine Hill) Cemetery, UK

    and

    Corporal (W. Op./Air Gnr.) (Pilot U/T.) David Irving, RAF 526562, age 23, 09/01/1940, Paisley (Hawkhead) Cemetery, UK


    Both Deaths registered Bellie Moray Scotland

    Which would suggest


    9.1.40 Harvard I P5848 15 FTS near Fochabers, Moray Flown In Ground

    The crash of the Harvard was at Gordon Castle, Fochabers, 3m S of Dallachy airfield.

    Hollis's death was registered in Battersea, aged 19 if you are interested.
