During the early hours of November 23rd 1943 the press descended on Raf Downham Market, the home of 218 (Gold Coast) Squadron and 623 squadron who had just returned from a raid on Berlin.

Over the years I have managed to locate photographs of five crews taken at the debriefing, however I have not been able to establish the identity of the news paper. One of the photo's was used as I have a clipping. I have tried without success using the British Newspaper Archive, but the results for dates is just overwhelming.

My question is, is there any other way of establishing the newspaper identity, or can someone with experience of using the BNA look on my behalf. There is nothing in the squadron, base and group ORB.

Any advice welcome.
