Default Squadron Leader RA Lidstone 75419

    Hi,

Have great difficulty confirming the above officers christian name, I have looked in the usually places but only come up with his initials and that he published a book in 1943 titled " The complete guide to Bayonet fighting". He was I believe station commander at RAF Woolfox Lodge at one time.

    Any help appreciated.

It's an unusual surname , so a search on FreeBMD came up with a Ronald Alexander Lidstone, and if you Google him, you get:

Birth registered Lewisham, September 1895. Born July 31st, 1895, died Soutwark, registered December 1969.
