    Default F/O H.R. Hyde Crew - 83 Squadron

This crew was involved in the explosion of a photoflash in Lancaster JA686 resulting in the death of the Nav., Air B . & Wop. on 26/11/1943. I know they went to Cologne on the night of 3/4 November & Berlin on the night of 22/23 November. Can anyone give details of their previous ops.

Thank you for your reply. Could I ask if the gunner in this crew, Sgt. G.M. Jones is W/O Graham Marsden Jones (1108838) lost later with the Furniss crew on 14/8/1944.

Correct, after the Hyde crew, he flew with a P/O W. Simpson until 5th Jan 44, then flew first trip with P/O F. McLean's crew on 15th Feb 44 to Berlin.
