    Default Frank Evans RAAF 401112 WW2 Pilot

    Hi-I am seeking any details about Frank Evans,RAAF,service number 401112 who was a fighter pilot.He was training in No.55 Operational Training Unit based at RAF Usworth,north-east England in 1941-1942.Where was he posted to after here?

    Service number 401112 is for Phillip Maxwell STEWART. You might want to check the service number.

    Hello,

    401112 Is the correct number for Frank EVANS RAAF* (later O35444). The 401112 Maxwell Philip STEWART referred to, was a member of the Australian Military Forces (Militia). He served in the 5th Field Brigade, 5/3/1934 to 1/4/1936. AUS405189 F/S Maxwell Philip STEWART RAAF, was Killed on 25/26-2-1943 in No.467 Sqn RAAF Lancaster III ED526 raiding Nuremburg.
