    Default Moth hits bombing quadrant

In the Gallery section a TNA file (AIR 10/1564) shows a list of aircraft incidents for 1933. One that set my "bombing range" alarm off referes to a Moth that hit a bombing quadrant whilst flying over the range. It doesn't state what type of Moth or any serial number. My particular interest is in the bombing range as an aircraft hitting a bombing quadrant is rare. However it would be good to find out the whole story. Any ideas?

The range in question may be on the home airfield as these also had quadrants but to me it sounds more like a stand alone range - there weren't many in 1933!

    DH.60M Moth K1212, 8 Sqn, Khormaksar.
F/O Eric Arthur COLLYNS lost his life.

    Sean,

Many thanks. I didn't consider it being abroad but that explains why I couldn't find it in UK losses. Problem solved.
