    Hi Paul,

Air Force list: (121000) Claude E. Lewis, seniority 19. 12. 41, APO, (Tr)
    AIR 78 - 1878662 Claude Edward Lewis

    (enlisted 1869809 to 1889800 1884438 May 1943 Cardington) – 1943!

I tried to find full names of men with Service Numbers 121001 – 121010. No more…
Air Force lists: All were APO and all were (Tr).
    LG: No full name!

(121001) James Trevor, (James from AFL)
    (121002) G. A. E. Lee (LG G. A. only)
    (121003) W. Ransom
    (121004) R. B. Stainton
    (121005) A. L. Hubble
    (121006) F. B. Tyrrell
    (121007) J. S. Done
    (121008) G. F. Young
    (121009) W. W. Randall
    (121010) J. C. Lord
Why aren’t their full names in LG?

    Regards
    Mojmir

going back to original question, the P/O C E Lewis of 220 Squadron, late 1942
    has to be

116054 Christopher Edward Lewis EX 905988 -- Air Gunner

By process of elimination. As all other 'nearby Service numbers' are all in Training Branch so I suspect allocated as such

It had occurred to me that lack of full names in LG maybe due to security and what role that they might have played in Training Role

    (120999) R. F. PAGET TRAINING BRANCH
(121000) Claude E. Lewis TRAINING BRANCH
(121001) James Trevor, (James from AFL) TRAINING BRANCH
    (121002) G. A. E. Lee (LG G. A. only) TRAINING BRANCH
    (121003) W. Ransom TRAINING BRANCH
    (121004) R. B. Stainton TRAINING BRANCH
    (121005) A. L. Hubble TRAINING BRANCH
    (121006) F. B. Tyrrell TRAINING BRANCH
    (121007) J. S. Done TRAINING BRANCH
    (121008) G. F. Young TRAINING BRANCH
    (121009) W. W. Randall TRAINING BRANCH
    (121010) J. C. Lord TRAINING BRANCH
