The pilots killed when two Gloster Meteor III aircraft collided over the R.A.F. Station, Bentwaters, near Woodbridge, Suffolk, yesterday were F/O J. M. Butson and F/Lieut. J. L. Melia.

KANE: Harry Kenneth Kane suddenly died at midday on 15/01/1946; a post mortem examination revealed that death was due to acute hemolytic streptococcal pneumonia. His funeral took place on 21/01/1946
