    Just a small point, but in the first post on this thread (last item in list) the reference to the "Royal Australian Army" seems unlikely, and I don't think any of the Armies in the "old empire" were ever "royal", in fact they still are not. I there was an abbreviation "RAA" then there must be another interpretation.

    Quite right. My brainfart. Funny that it's Royal Australian Navy and Royal Australian Air Force, but just Australian Army.

    Army ain't my strength, so I have corrected it in my notes accordingly. Thanks for bringing it to my attention.
