    Default Air-Britain lookups, please

    Would like to know which units were operating the following at the beginning of November 1941 - they were involved in a supply run to Egypt:

    Sunderland T9071
    Catalina Z2147

    Hello

    T9071 is part of a batch of 20 Sunderland Is delivered between July 1940 and March 1941. 10 RAAF / 230. crashlanded after being attacked by fighters, Ras Amr, Egypt, 22/12/41

    Z2147 is part of a batch of 20 Catalina Is delivered between June and November 1944 (sic)... 202/4 OTU/131 OTU/302 FTY/131 OTU. skidded on landing and wing dug in. swung and ran aground, Killadeas, 9/1/44 DBR.

    230 Sqn matches another ref to the operation so that appears good.

    And the Catalina was coming from Gibraltar so 202 Sqn who operated the type from there looks like a good fit too.

    Re Z2147, it was delivered Gander Lake-Greenock over July 1/2, 1941, by a Wing Commander Harding.
