    Default Peter Hinchliffe passed away

    I read two short condolences on a nightfighter forum to the effect that the great author and ex Bomber crew Peter Hinchliffe passed way at the weekend after a long battle with parkinson's disease. It goes without saying that he shall be extremely and sorely missed.

    Really sorry to hear the sad news of the death of Peter. I had the pleasure to meet this true gentleman on three occasions in his home near Orpington, Kent a number of years ago. He gave me a tremendous amount of help and advice at the time, for which I was and still am grateful.

    Will be sadly missed.
