Default First name of a Air Gunner

    Hello,

I'm unable to trace this air gunner, Sgt J. Roberts 1081482. I went throught the AIR78s, but no name is matching.

    Can anyone help me please?

    Thanks

    Phil

    Hi Mojmir,

Me too I'm surprised you did it so quickly. Anyhow, very good job and thanks. I was thinking of that possibility 'J' was Roberts' second initial, but that was also opening so many possible names!

Thank you very much Paul and Phil, again.

Paul, I accept your challenge. Send me "your" Jones via PM (or here?) tomorrow at 16:00 GMT. I'll try...

Sorry I was doing it from memory and could not get access to my files. My Mystery Man is NOT a Jones but a AC2 Smith 624052 I even have his Signature, But still can't ID Him after a couple of attempts. If you are still up for a challenge please try. His signature is here.. 4 initials ? J C J Smith

    Hi Paul,

Nothing. „Some cards are very (really very) faint and difficult to read.“ I will continue…
