The ORB for No.60 OTU gives the pilot as Sgt Aldworth:

July 3rd 1943, “Mosquito D.705 (Pilot Sgt Cotter, Navigator, W/O Yates) landed at Shawbury by mistake and over ran the runway, breaking the undercarriage against a hedge.
Mosquito HJ.712 (Pilot – Sgt Aldworth on Night Flying Test stalled off a steep turn and spun from 5,000ft to 2,000ft. Extensive external damage was done.”

    Hello,

Sgt Aldworth, possibly 1800918 F/Sgt (Pilot) Richard George ALDWORTH RAFVR, missing intruder sortie to Schiphol, in No.605 Sqn Mosquito FB.VI HJ784:UP-F (Nav. J19645 P/O Kevin Joseph MULCAIR RCAF), on 10/11-1-1944.

Too coincidental not to be a connection as Aldworth, Cotter and Yates are all pictured:

Further down the post, Tom Thorne gives Aldworth's initials as R. G.

    Hello
Many thanks for your prompt response. Frankly, I did not expect to receive a reply, let alone all of that information. Many thanks to all.
