    Default F/O. Geoffrey Bond 91 Squadron 19/09/1943

    Hi,

On 19/09/1943 F/O. Geoffrey Bond of 91 Squadron lost his life while flying a Spitfire XII. The orb of his Squadron (AIR27/740) mentions that his plane was MB841.

The Spitfire Production list, which can be found at www.airhistory.org.uk, mentions EN614.

    Which one is correct ?

    Many thanks in advance !

By the way, EN614 was coded DL-T per Phil Listemann's Allied Wings No.1: Supermarine Spitfire Mk.XII.
