W/C David C Torrens (34205), pre-99 Sqn affiliation?
David C Torrens was the pilot of a 99 Sqn Wellington failing to return from a Berlin raid on 9/10 April 1941. He had recently joined 99 Sqn from 18 OTU. According to Bowman (The Wellington Bomber as well as Bombs Away!) he "was new to Bomber Command".
Would anyone be familiar with his previous branch/squadron affiliation?
