My father, the late Wing Commader D.V. Ivins and his navigator, Flight Sergeant Daly of 151 squadron were shot down over Tramaine, south west of Dinard on 17-05-1943. I have spoken to witnesses of the incident and know that he was shot down by a hidden German battery next to the railway line. The aircraft crashed and exploded, killing the occupants who are now buried in a small churchyard in Dinard. I have not been able to contact Daly's relations - does anybody know of them? Does anyone recall my father? Thanks in advance. 219 Normoss Road, Blackpool - 01253 392499.

    Dear David,
I am researching my Uncle F/O David Sparrow 151 Sqdn. Your Father flew on Ops with him including his last on 19th April 1943. I am afraid I have nothing to offer you, only information on David. I wonder if you have any photos etc of that time ? I know a fair amount of David's fate but little of his time flying.
Hoping this finds you or any other person for that matter that might be able to help.
