    Can anyone enlighten me with more details regarding this loss:

    Type: Roc
    Serial number: ?, -?
    Operation: Training exercise
    Lost: 25/02/1940
    Midshipman (A) Thomas R.W. Wagner, RNVR, H.M.S. Raven, [759 Sqdn], age 19, 25/02/1940, Haslar Royal Naval Cemetery, UK
    Crashed in a training exercise near Botley, Hants.

    Was there a second man in the aircraft when it crashed ?
    If there was who was he and what happened to him ?

    Newspaper reports on Inquest confirm Thomas Richard Wetzel Wagner flying solo when he crashed near the Pear Tree Inn, Boorley Green, on the outskirts of Botley
